Baby B - 3 weeks old

Born on 1-21-09, sweet Baby B came to see me for his first photo shoot at only 3 weeks old! What a little blessing...

Baby E - 6 months old

The perfect little model... that's Baby E! What a ray of sunshine! Baby E came to visit me in my studio for her 6 month portraits.

Baby E brought a special outfit that her Great-Grandmother knit... so precious!

I am already looking forward to our next meeting!

Texas Bridal Show - Jan. 3-4, 2009

Last month, I participated in my first bridal show. The Texas Bridal Show was held at the Dallas Convention Center on January 3 & 4. It was great to see so many beaming brides to be! My sister is standing with me in this photo below. She did a great job decorating my booth. The drapery in the back was her doing.

We added a second table on Sunday-- I am not sure how we did it Saturday using only one table with ALL my stuff!

Z & J - Maternity

Z & J are expecting their first baby, but don't be mistaken. There will be 2 children in this household. 'Dachsy' has no idea what she is in for-- she is about to be a big sis!

She is literally glowing!

I had to adjust my photo taking strategy for this one. Instead of '1-2-3' *snap*, Miss Dachsy responds to "look!" This was my first time to bring a pet into the studio. I have to say, it was quite the adventure. She is a sweet girl! "Look!" *snap*

A & C

Another beautiful day for a beautiful ceremony! This stained glass in the baptistry was gorgeous and made an excellent setting for photos of the bride.

A&C's reception was a party! I truly loved the bride's cake. It was almost too pretty to eat with those gold accents, but I gave in and it was worth it!

There could not have been a better day to have a beautifully quaint wedding ceremony out under the trees. The weather was perfect in Waxahachie and the scenic country location was the icing on the cake. One thing I really enjoy about shooting weddings is getting to see so many places that I otherwise would maybe never experience. Living in the suburbs, I often forget how close the country really is. M&T's wedding day was perfect.

I am always so thankful that my clients choose me to share their most special day with them. Thank you, M&T, for the opportunity to help celebrate your love!
